The
district police commander, Mr Apollo Kateeba, arrived at the scene with

Mr

have embarked on a man-hunt for him. He pleaded with the demonstrators
to cool down. “We are already in the hunt for this man who committed the
offence against the minor and you need to cooperate with us so that we
bring him to book without injuring other people,” Mr Kateeba said.
He
said the police were liaising with the district authorities to ensure
that the suspect, if arrested, should be punished according to
regulations governing public servants.
