Police have uncovered a shocking case of child abuse in Pennsylvania.
Now, 5 adults have been arrested on allegation of abusing five children by shooting BB guns and forcing them to watch adults having sex. One child was involved in the sex acts.
In court documents, investigators described the horrific abuse, which included being hit, slapped, thrown over a railing and being fired repeatedly with BB guns all over their bodies, leaving marks, scars and bleeding.
Police arrested 31-year-old Shakia Jackson, 24-year-old Daryl Carter, 23-year-old William Wade, 22-year-old Mark Isom, and 22-year-old Danielle Hammond.
They all face charges including endangering the welfare of a child, assault, forced sexual intercourse with a minor and corruption of a minor.
The suspects were arrested after an investigation by the Children and Youth Services of Delaware County.
The two accused women are the mothers of the five children, ranging in age from one to 10. Jackson is the mother of four children while Hammond is the mother of the 1-year-old victim.
When police asked the adults why they shot the children with BB guns, Jackson allegedly said that she and the other adults were just playing and the kids wanted to be shot.
Hammond, who is not pictured, was released on $10,000 bail. The other suspects bails were set between $100,000 and $250,000.
