At least one person was killed and three others seriously
injured during clashes between two communities along the Sondu-Katito
road in Nyakach, Kisumu County on Saturday.
Youths armed with bows and arrows barricaded the roads at Onyuongo, Holo, and Store Pamba.
Police have since cleared the roads, though gunshots could still be heard Saturday afternoon.
Trouble started when cattle rustlers raided a home in Ngege village and stole cows.
